Free Public Talk- Ageing Baby Boomers (Zoom)

About
The ageing of the baby boomers is the most significant demographic phenomenon of the twenty-first century. Unfortunately, growing old is sometimes viewed in sheer economic terms as the phase of when decrements outweigh increments. The 3Ds – dependency, decrepitude and despondency – define societal perception of ageing. Ageism is a pernicious attitude. The new-old are better educated and should be viewed as a valuable human resource.
The 3 baby boomers in this webinar will discuss their new roles and the exciting epidemiological research of baby boomers in Singapore.
